Abstract:		 A 7-10% archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the development of 3 dwelling houses and garages on a green field site on the N edges of the village of Daviot, Aberdeenshire. The evaluation area lay directly across the road and down slope from the Loanhead of Daviot stone circle. The total evaluation area was approximately 1 hectare.
