The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was conducted on behalf of Hillhouse Quarry Group Ltd at Townhead of Greenock, East Ayrshire (NS 643 275). The evaluation was undertaken between the 16th and 27th of June, 2014 in advance of the development of the site for a quarry. Eighty six trenches were opened (totalling 7642 m²) within the evaluation area, one of which was also significantly extended. One feature of possible archaeological interest was investigated but was determined to represent remnants of a modern sheep fold. No other finds or features were uncovered.
