Abstract: |
Twelve window sample boreholes were sunk at Lace Market Point, London Road, Nottingham.Five boreholes were also excavated by the engineers, but were not observed by TPA. From the window samples it is clear that there is extensive made ground across the PDA. This varies but is broadly defined by current land use of the site: the waste ground utilised as a car park in the north of the PDA and the old petrol station forecourt, currently used as a hand car wash. |
