Abstract:		 This Historic Environment Desk Based Assessment and Heritage Statement covers a proposed development at land adjacent to the Old Vicarage, Halam Hill, Halam, Nottinghamshire, NG22 8AX. The document was requested as part of the application process by the local Conservation and Planning Officers. The report includes a description of the baseline conditions; an examination of readily available documentary, cartographic and known archaeological evidence; and identifies any known and potential cultural heritage receptor(s) within the application site and its surrounding area. It proposes a suitable mitigation strategy for archaeology and heritage.
