Abstract:		 Rapid walkover survey using a GPS, to assess the woodland's potential to contain well-preserved archaeological remains. The survey area was walked in transects aligned E-W, approx 50m to 100m apart. The survey is only a sample of the woodland and should not be taken as exhaustive, or its results as definitive. Features recorded included woodland boundary banks, hollow ways, trackways and strip lynchets.
