Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 3.1 hectares of grassland. The survey has not identified any anomalies of probable or possible archaeological origin. Ridge and furrow cultivation, also seen as extant earthworks, and a former field boundary suggest that the area has been used for agricultural activity since the medieval period. The remaining anomalies are modern in origin, relating to a land drain, ferrous objects, and fencing. |
