Abstract: |
Between 17th March 2014 and 21st March 2014 OA East monitored the excavation of geotechnical trial pits on land immediately south of Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. A total of twenty test pits were monitored and recorded across two areas (Fig. 1). A high proportion of the pits in the northern area (AZ North) were found to contain archaeological remains dating to the Roman period. A possible enclosure ditch was uncovered by trial pits in the southern area (AZ South). |
