Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was carried out in the garden of 6 Bramley Close, Colchester in advance of the construction of a 'granny' annexe. Despite being located within the area of the Lexden Roman cemetery, no significant archaeological horizons were identified and only one natural feature was recorded.
