Abstract:		 MOLA was commissioned by CgMs Consulting to carry out an archaeological trial trench evaluation on land north of Fleckney Road, Kibworth Harcourt, Leicestershire prior to the proposed development of the site. Sixteen trenches were excavated. Ditches, gullies, large pits and a possible trackway, were tentatively dated to the Roman period. Truncated furrows of former ridge and furrow cultivation were present across the site, though in the eastern field they existed as extant earthworks.
