Abstract: |
A fieldwalking survey was carried out and found no substantial concentrations of artefacts until the post-medieval/modern period. Worked flint was more prevalent in the two western most surveyed fields. Roman pottery was recovered in the north-western corner over settlement identified in the geophysical survey. There was a general distribution of medieval and post-medieval pottery which probably relates to manure scatters. |
