Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A negative watching brief for the demolition of a building and reduction of land at 23 Fowke St, Rothley. The building and 1m below the subsoil had been removed before the archaeologist arrived. No archaeological deposits were observed during the reduction of the remaining ground level and no evidence was remaining for the stone footings mentioned in the Written Scheme of Investigation.
