Abstract:		 Twenty-two 30m long, 1.8m wide archaeological trial trenches were mechanically excavated at the site in advance of the remodelling of an existing golf driving range, No significant archaeological features were encountered, although a small assemblage of mostly post-medieval artefacts was recovered from the overburden.
