The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The archaeological assessment was carried out with funding from the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund. It was conducted between October 2009 and March 2012. The project aimed to develop an informed strategic overview of both the extent and character of the known aggregate resources within the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. By developing the knowledge base and enhancing our understanding of the archaeological resource, it aimed to better inform future decision making priorities.
