Abstract:		 This DBA has been researched and prepared by MAS on behalf of Startin Tractors Ltd. The subject of this DBA (also referred to as the site) is an agricultural plant depot 'Site A' and a field located to the north east of the Main Road A444, 'Site B' Twycross, Leicestershire, CV9 3PW. No buried archaeological remains have been recorded on site, though archaeology has been recorded 200m south-east (MLE10079). The site appears to have remained mostly undeveloped for at least 170 years. 'Site A' is likely to have been truncated when the agricultural yard/showroom were constructed. 'Site B' appears to have remained undeveloped since at least 1842. The proposed works may involve some impact upon sub-surface strata/geology; some level of evaluation and/or monitoring may be appropriate prior to or during development of the site.
