Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2.4 hectares of grassland. The survey has identified a probable former settlement area with an enclosure ditch. An area of ridge and furrow cultivation has also been identified. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern or natural origin. The modern anomalies relate to agricultural activity, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
