The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey covering 19 hectares was carried out on arable farmland north of Newbridge Quarry in advance of a proposed northward extension to the current quarrying operation. The survey has clarified the extent and morphology of the system of fields, trackways and enclosures that had previously been identified as cropmarks. The survey also clearly demonstrates the continuation of the pattern of settlement and enclosure revealed immediately to the south during the several excavations undertaken in advance of the quarries phased northward expansion.
