Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East (ASE), the contracting division of the Centre for Applied Archaeology, University College London, was commissioned by Penny Turay to undertake a Watching Brief during groundworks prior to the construction of a conservatory extension. A 6.0m x 4.0m trench was excavated to a depth of 0.30m through a modern concrete floor onto made ground. Natural substrate was not attained and no archaeological remains were observed across the area affected by the groundworks. |
