The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East was commissioned by CgMs on behalf of their client to undertake an archaeological evaluation at Land at Westgate Street, London Borough of Hackney. Two trial trenches were excavated on the 4th March 2013. The two trenches were devoid of archaeological features and finds and the site appears to have been extensively truncated by 20th century re-developments. The underlying natural clay was identified at c.16m OD.
