Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in July 2019 on Land at Tangier Lane (Eastern Parcel), Bishops Waltham, Hampshire. Sixteen Trenches and a Sondage were excavated. No significant archaeological finds or features predating the modern period were revealed. An extant structure foundation and electrical service were perhaps associated with the probable use of the land by the Catholic Priory. The final destination of the electrical cable was unknown, perhaps feeding unrecorded infrastructure during the Second World War. |
