Abstract: |
Trial-trenching and excavation undertaken in advance of residential development revealed residual prehistoric pot sherds and three phases apiece of 1st century AD and medieval to post-medieval enclosures. Other findings comprised pits, a Roman well and a moderate to large assemblage of Late Iron Age and early Roman pottery. |
