Abstract: |
A borehole survey was undertaken at 1-3 Turnberry Quay and 1-5 Lanark Square, Isle of Dogs, London by ASE in order to characterise the underlying deposit at the site. A total of three purposive cable percussive boreholes were attempted but only one was successful in recovering a full sediment sequence. The underlying gravels were encountered at 8m below ground level and a peat and organic alluvial silt clay sequence was recorded. |
