Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East (ASE), a division of University College London Centre for Applied Archaeology (UCLCAA) was commissioned by Neptune Group to undertake an archaeological watching brief during groundworks at 14 Holywell Row, Hackney, London (NGR 533110 182150). A number of post-medieval features were observed and recorded including a brick-built cesspit and brick-built walls and deposits of made ground. These suggest extensive rebuilding and/or extension of the property over time. |
