Abstract: |
The evaluation has demonstrated the absence of any archaeological remains. The natural geology was uncovered between 75.94m OD at the northwest end and 75.65m OD at the southeast end showing a slope downwards from north to south. The stratigraphic sequence consisted in a thin colluvial deposit on top of the natural soil covered by subsoil, which was truncated at the east and later covered itself by madeground, modern in date. All eventually sealed by topsoil, which corresponds to the current garden surface. |
