Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was commissioned by Gleeds Managagement Services Ltd, in advance of the development.conducted at Curous Brewery, Victoria Road, Ashford, Kent, NGR 00946 45184, between the 3rd and 6th April 2017. 5 trenches were excavated revealing several red, frogged brick and concrete foundations found amongst made ground deposits. These are potentially related to the construction and demolition of the late 19th century school complex. One linear feature was also recorded. No other finds or features of archaeological interest were noted |
