Abstract: |
John Moore Heritage Services carried out an archaeological watching brief at 16-18 Bath Street, Abingdon, Oxfordshire (NGR SU4963097155). Groundwork consisted of the excavation of footings trenches and a soakaway prior to the construction of four one bed flats. No significant archaeological features or deposits were encountered; a series of medieval and post medieval cultivation soil layers were overlain by postmedieval levelling deposits and associated walls. |
