Abstract:		 The excavation revealed the presence of a small and a large prehistoric ring ditch, a late medieval or (more likely) early post-medieval windmill, linear features possibly of prehistoric origin, and a number of undated post holes. Finds were too few to suggest even broad dating for the ring ditches other than 'prehistoric'.
