Abstract:
This illustrated report details the key findings from the Norfolk Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund NMP project carried out by staff from the Norfolk Museums and Archaeology Service between August 2007 and March 2008. The report describes the methods and results of the air photo interpretation and mapping using English Heritage National Mapping Programme standards. The report includes an overview of the sources of aerial imagery and the methods used to create maps and records of the archaeological monuments. A period-based overview of the archaeological results highlights some of the discoveries and analysis arising from this work. The report concludes with a summary of recommendations for further work including some recommendations for a selection of key monuments.
