Abstract: |
This report examines interactions between commercial fishing and the marine historic environment and the models and approaches that can be used to assess these interactions. It reviews current and emerging policies in order to inform a series of recommended management and research proposals, with the aim of offering practical and deliverable options to use as a basis for discussion with stakeholders. The report was prepared for English Heritage by a consortium comprising Marine Ecological Surveys Ltd, Fjordr Ltd and Marine Planning Consultants Ltd, as part of the National Heritage Protection Plan work on Marine Exploitation Impacts. |
