Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East was commissioned by MGJV on behalf of Southern Water to undertake an archaeological watching brief at land west of A29, water treatment works, Billingshurst. The watching brief consisted of a topsoil strip along the proposed route of the pipe in addition with four trenches measuring 20m in length. No archaeological features or deposits were revealed in the watching brief and subsequent trenches. A small assemblage of late post-medieval finds was recovered in the topsoil. |
