Abstract:		 Following on from the assessment of the charred plant remains from this site, it was decided to assess 13 contexts for charcoal. This was based on the amount of charcoal observed during the assessment of charred plant remains and on the identification of contexts by the excavator which were of archaeological interest, and where there was no evidence of contamination.
