The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey, covering approximately 18 hectares was undertaken on agricultural land to the west of Kirkleatham Lane, Kirkleatham. This was part of a programme of archaeological works in advance of proposed residential development. The survey area is dominated by responses associated with geology. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been detected such as ditches, pit-like responses, a possible enclosure and areas of burning. In addition former field boundaries, and medieval ridge and furrow, have also been identified. Therefore the archaeological potential of the survey area is deemed to be low to medium.
