The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey was undertaken on approximately 23 hectares of land located to the east of Armthorpe at Holme Wood Lane, South Yorkshire. Anomalies of a possible archaeological origin have been detected along with field drains, former field boundaries and modern ploughing. Geological responses within the dataset are likely to be from the sand pits used for extraction. Magnetic disturbance within the survey area relate to overhead power lines, an old track and modern debris. Based on the results of the magnetic survey, the archaeological potential of the site is moderate in the east and low elsewhere.
