Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in March 2020 at Sonning Golf Club. Six trenches were excavated. The evaluation identified several archaeological features, concentrated in the vicinity of Trenches 2 and 6 which are likely to represent former field system ditches. The majority of features were undated, although a single flake of struck flint from ditch 212 (fill 213) suggests that this feature may be of prehistoric date, although the flake may also be residual in a later feature. Two ditches were firmly dated to the post-medieval period by the presence of post-medieval CBM within their fills.
