Abstract: |
John Moore Heritage Services carried out an archaeological watching brief at the Old Post Office, Main Street, Bretforton, Worcestershire (NGR SP 09414 43786). As a result of the groundworks three features were recorded that may pre-date the construction of the post office in the late 19th century; two of these were interpreted as possible boundary or drainage ditches, while the third was a rubbish pit containing a range of domestic rubbish. All other archaeological deposits and features were thought to relate to the construction of the post office building. |
