Abstract:		 MOLA has been commissioned by Mr Lee Randall to undertake a programme of archaeological observation, investigation, recording, analysis and publication of works on land at 15 Roade Hill, Ashton, Northamptonshire (NGR, Fig 1). The work comprises the demolition of a dwelling and the construction of a new dwelling and associated works. This Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) has been prepared by MOLA to describe the proposed methodology to be undertaken for the archaeological works, under the archaeological advice of Northamptonshire County Council (NCC 2020), and in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (MHCLG 2019). The programme of archaeological works will be undertaken to ensure satisfactory archaeological investigation and recording to provide further information to the authority and inform upon the needs of any potential mitigation should a planning application go ahead. The Event number for this work is ENN109855 and will be used as the site code.
