Abstract: |
Excavation revealed mainly undated features but charcoal from a double-gully feature yielded two late Neolithic radiocarbon dates and pottery of comparable age. A post hole and a large pit, perhaps a sunken-featured building, contained Saxon pottery. Unstratified finds included struck flints, furhter Neolithic and Saxon pottery, middle-to-late Bronze Age pottery and a single sherd of medieval pottery. |
