Abstract:		 Archaeological evaluation by trial trenching comprising 6 trenches, 20m long and 1.6m wide. Saxo-Norman features exposed, including a possible palisade trench and a large feature that may be a former moat or defensive feature. Remains of a post-medieval stone-built barn were also exposed, along with medieval linears possibly forming field ditches or boundary markers.
