The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeology South East were commissioned by CgMs Consulting to undertake a watching brief on five geotechnical test pits on property at Maiden Lane, Crayford, Dartford, Kent. The watching brief undertaken at the site determined the presence of a body of Quaternary sediment underlying much, if not all of the site. These sediments appear consistent with the Crayford Silts. However determining the age, palaeoenvironmental potential and archaeological significance of the deposits will require assessment of samples taken during the course of the watching brief.
