Abstract:		 Eleven 50m trenches and a single 100m trench were excavated in advance of the proposed redevelopment of the site. The evaluation revealed a section of Roman road, a number of shallow undated ditches within the north-western area of the site and a system of undated drainage ditches within the eastern end of the site.
