Abstract: |
A single trench was excavated to the rear of the Meeting House. The stratigraphy showed several episodes of made ground containing 17th- to 19th-century material, and some residual medieval pottery. No archaeological features were observed. A modern sewer and 19th-century brick garden wall were noted. the natural gravel was not exposed but its depth was noted by augering. |
