Abstract: |
Some 37 trenches were excavated. These confirmed the presence of a substantial prehistoric linear ditch (territorial boundary work) that had been shown in a geophysical survey, along with small areas containing Bronze age features. A moderate density of struck flint was recovered as well as a few sherds of prehistoric, Roman and post-medieval pottery. |
