Abstract:		 Wardell Armstrong Archaeology (WAA) was commissioned by Ryan Evans from Taylor Wimpey, to undertake a programme of archaeological building recording of the old farm complex with associated outbuildings of Rothwells Farm (SJ 60926 98463). The work was required as a condition by Norman Redhead (GMAAS) and Wigan Council in regard to the construction of a new residential development (Ref. A/13/78700).
