Wardell Armstrong LLP (WA) was commissioned by John Speed to undertake a programme of archaeological building recording for a barn at Little Eppleton Farm, near Hetton-le-Hole (NZ 36779 46815). The work was required as a condition of planning consent. The level 2/3 building recording covered a small barn at the south-eastern corner of the farmstead complex of Little Eppleton and Eppleton Old Hall.
