Abstract:		 This report describes a geophysical survey which has been undertaken as part of an archaeological evaluation of a site which is to be developed in connection with an underground gas storage project on the Yorkshire coast. The site has produced varied magnetic findings including cultivation effects, land drains, a trackway and variably distributed alluvial deposits. The latter may indicate the silted fill of a former N-S palaeochannel
