Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on land adjacent to Great North Road, Little Paxton in advance of the construction of a new water main by Anglian Water. Three Launch/Reception Pits were positioned along the eastern edge of the field; two revealed archaeological features comprising a pit, a linear feature, a gully and a possible posthole suggesting a Later Prehistoric date.
