Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of seven trial trenches, was undertaken prior to the erection of two light industrial units with associated bin/ cycle store, landscaping, hardstanding and car parking. The proposed development lay within an area of archaeological potential. The remains of a twentieth century railway line and probable associated postholes were revealed. |
