Abstract:		 Archaeology South East carried out an archaeological evaluation for CgMs Consulting Ltd on behalf of their client A+ Homes Ltd on land at Swansmere School, Ambleside Avenue, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey (TQ 113 661). An earlier desk based study of the site (Darton 2008) identified a low to moderate potential for prehistoric remains. Fifteen Evaluation trenches were excavated to a cumulative length of 375 metres. Four trenches contained archaeological features, but all features were undated. One bone was found within a pit (trench 3).
