Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation excavation was carried out at Bonners Primary School, Maresfield, East Sussex in advance of the construction of a new pre-school building. Two linear features, possibly ditches, were found, together with a pit and two possible tree bowls, all of which dated to the mid to late 19th century, corresponding with the use of this site for a school from this time.
