The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An evaluation, comprising a geoarchaeological auger survey was carried out in October 2014. Two holes were augered to depths of 2.66m and 2.5m respectively. There was an absence of the typical Willingdon sequence and an absence of any peat here, which indicates that the embayment in which the site is located has a local sediment variation. This data is useful in the compilation of a geoarchaeological record for modelling the deposits through the Shinewater / Willingdon area.
