Abstract: |
Three evaluation trenches were excavated at 116 Phyllis Avenue, Peacehaven, East Sussex. No archaeological features were noted in any of the trenches. The trenches produced very few artefacts, comprising a single flake of later Prehistoric flintwork, and 20th century artefacts. However, the spoil from a badger set located in the north-west corner of the site produced a few pieces of Mesolithic flintwork and a quantity of fire cracked flint. |
